Tang Hua Seng is a department store with lots of craft items. Thonburi branch: 289 Sirinthorn Road, Bang Plad.
You can find imported supplies for quilting, crochet, knitting, macrame, tatting, rug hooking, fabric painting, and scrap booking. They have Clover tools such as yo-yo makers. They have cotton fabric and polyester batting. There is a wooden quilting frame 47.5 cm by 47.5 cm for 410 baht or they have wood pieces to make your own frame. They also have a scissor sharpening service for 60 baht. It’s a department store so there is clothing and food too! Open daily 10:00 to 21:00.

Craft items on the first floor include buttons, ribbon, lace, lace collars, belt buckles, zippers, tassels, presser foot, scissors, yarn, carving tools, rotary cutters, Olfa frosted Advantage rulers, knitting needles, quilters travel case for blocks, velour, embroidery floss, thread, gloves in white, black or red, purse handles, batik kits, beads, paint, and items to make artificial flowers. They have rolls of felt, or meters of felt. There is 36″ wide acrylic felt at 100 baht per meter, and 40″ felt from Japan which is 60% wool and 40% rayon, at 700 baht per meter.

Pornsawad Shop, #60-62 Sampeng Lane, near Siam Central Bank at the intersection of Sampeng Lane and Trok Hua Met street, has felt by the meter in 26 different colors. The price is 100 baht per meter. It is 36 inches wide. They also stock lace, lining, lightweight cotton fabric in solid colors, net, burlap, tassels and velcro in many colors.
