Hello Jill,
I was looking for yarn shops in Bangkok and crossed your blog. It is so interesting. I live in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. We have a quilt group that I will tell about your blog. It is much the same in Mexico; always looking for sources. I noted the chinatwon notions shop as we will be there (Chinatwon)for a few days.My daughter and I are visiting in Janusry and I would appreciate any info you might have on yarn shops.

Hi Jill!

I just had to leave a comment as I am embarking on a search for a pair of pinking shears in BKK, and your blog has made the endeavor feel a lot less daunting and aimless! Alas, I’ve only ever sewn one very plain quilt – I tend to knit and sew home decor or children’s things instead, but your posts have been very educational for me :) I’m going to Sport City tomorrow, and will check out Maison Blanche while I am there for certain!

Hello. I need to find heavy canvas duck to make durable high quality duffel bags from in Bangkok. Do you know of any shops that sell heavy duty canvas? I would also like it to be water repellent, stain guarded etc.
